Otto's a real interesting character. i dont like him as a person, but he genuinely feared Daemon and cared for Viserys, despite his flaws as a ruler. and the actor's line delivery are superb! im with thgat on Rhaenyra and Daemon as well as far as Alicent, im not sure where i stand. i think she cares deeply about Aegon, but she wasn't strong enough to be there for him. im not yet sold on whether it was a sign of selfishness or weakness

Helaena is one of the few sympathetic characters in the books, but im with ya. the extra color we have in the show, and the actresses portrayal are great. she's so kind, and is constantly put in situations that are bad for her. team Helaena right here!! she deserves better

i kinda of love Catelyn lol (i know, i know. im in the minority) but i hear ya. she absolutely should have comforted Aegon. so far, im giving her the benefit of the doubt. so, right now, i see her as wanting to do so, but she was too weak to do it thats not great, but its better than her not caring at least im also open to the idea that she doesnt love her children as much as i currently give her credit for

(only read the first sentence to far. one sec) you raise a good point with the "could he really have turned her down" that was a tricky situation because she held the power dynamic. an argument could definitely be made that he was pressured into hooking up with her that night with that said, i watched it over and over during season 1, and came to the conclusion that he was reluctant at first, but ended up caving because he wanted her fast forward to the boat, he could've taken the side piece deal or denied that and gone back to being just a kingsguard. but being salty is weak' dont get me wrong, i would probably be salty as well. but im not proud of that. a better man than him or myself would be able to move on from her

i looked for the scar, but couldnt even find it. my eyes are so bad that i ended up wondering if Rhaenyra might have even been referring to a figurative scar lol now that you mention it, the coloring around her next did seem off but you're right. thats clearly why Rhaenyra freed her then shoutout to Rhaenyra for doing what was right!

thanks, luna for what its worth, i didnt notice the scars on Mysaria. so another way i stand out is by being wrong on that lol. apparently, there are scars on her neck from her slave collar. so Rhaenyra freeing her makes sense :))

Also Jaehaerys didn't die on Cole's watch, it was his night off. Arryk was supposed to be on watch but he was with the king instead.

the way in which he smashed his wifes head in certainly says as much. but im still not sold on him giving the order to kill a child. admittedly, maybe im just naive im with ya on the reason he named Rhaenyra as his heir though. Daemon was not wrong there

Arryk was in the throne room with Aegon, but how do you know that it was Cole's night off. was that stated somewhere?

i was kind of surprised by it because i had thought of her as a good mother. i still think she's a loving mother, but shes not a good one, thats for sure. she's just not up to the task
